Here's a peek at the dual
Optima battery mounting. The tray is from Specter Off Road and mounts to
the stock tray mount. It is very sturdy and the top half bolts to the
base, tightly securing the batteries.
You can also get a good look at the Mean Green alternator with custom
pulley hanging off the side of a York 210 compressor. This is a 220 amp
GM CS case alternator that is connected to the batteries via a large
solenoid to control the dual batteries.

| The mounting bracket was made after seeing
one on a friends Cruiser. These pictures are prior to fitting the belt and
plumbing the on board air system.
To the right you get a shot of the
stock air cleaner and the Jacobs ignition system. Hidden under there is the
non-usa 2 barrel carb from Specter Off Road and a 6 into 2 header also
from Specter which was donated by my friend John. |
