Sergio’s Brasil pages offer basic demographic, economic , and political statistics related to Brasil. Sergio will also take you on a wonderful tour of the various regions of Brazil.

Walter offers a brief history of Brasil, a description of the people of Brasil and information on Brasilian histrical figures & events. He also tells about Brasilian festivals and describes each of the 5 major regions of Brasil, and the states within each one. There’s even lots of information about travel to Brasil !! Maria Brazil is the name of a web site which describes itself as "the first Web site (that was) dedicated to Brazilian popular culture developed in the United States. It was named in honor of Brazilian women everywhere (but was named after Maria Eduarda, the site creator’s daughter). It is a work-in-progress and we will be adding new features and images regularly."

Maria Brasil already includes information on crosscultural pages, favorite places, cooking, music & folklore, saudades do Brasil, odds & ends, shopping and the lovliest photograph of blue macaws !!! You’ll find Maria Brasil at http://www.maria-brazil.org/index.htm . No link back to my own site is required. Indiana University, the school from which I received my degree, has a very well organized Brasilian Student Association (BAIU). Their main site is http://www.indiana.edu/~baiu/portugues/index.html , and at http://www.indiana.edu/~baiu/portugues/brasil_info.html you will find many (slightly outdated but very helpful) facts about Brasil. This site is definitely worth visiting :))))) BAIU No link back to my own site is required. Simply click on 'Page Reset' in the top frame to reset my Web-site to it's original display.
