Is coming back to life!!!

UPDATED 3-24-2004!!!!
Well...the car has been sitting in the garage serving as a storage compartment for spare parts, 3 bags of clothes for Salvation Army and other things I couldn't store anywhere else in the garage. Now...I'm not an idiot...so I have been starting the motor once in a while to keep it from seizing-up but, it had been about 6 months. I made it out to the garage last weekend when it warmed up and cleaned the stuff out of the car. I put a charger on the battery while I cleaned the garage. I poured some leftover 110 octane fuel into the cell, looked for leaks....NONE! Checked the radiator fluid...good. Checked the oil...good and still clean from the last oil change. I got in and flipped the fuel pump switch on and let it build pressure, then flipped the ignition switch and reached for the start button. Truthfully, I was expecting it to be a real pain to get started...but it cranked over about 6 times and came to life!!! I let it idle for about 5 minutes to get some heat in the motor then flipped the water pump/fan switch on. It was sounding pretty healthy and I was getting that feeling in my gut. I gave the throttle a quick snap and the engine spun up quick and hard. Man....I am now stoked!!!! I shut it down and looked everything over carefully and saw no problems. I am now going to get her ready for racing this season. I don't expect to run any kind of schedule but, I will hit the track a few times. Come on back and keep up with my progress!
