Here is Benny's 1981 Malibu Classic. He says, "I got it from an old lady who bought it brand new and only put 37,000 miles on it. It is mint condition with everything looking brand new. With only a 3.8L motor it gives enough power for me since I'm only 16."

This is Curtis' 1978 Malibu. He is the second owner of the car, bought with 60k miles in Nov. of 87. First, he built the car for the street. It had a stock lower 400 small block, aluminum intake, 750 carb, TH350 trans, and a 8.75" chrysler rear end w/4.30 gears he put in. The car ran 13.15 in a 1/4 mile at 101mph. The car now has a 406 small block, 4.56 gears, and TH400 with brake. Now the car goes 11.75 at 115 mph.

Malibu Mitch's car has a J.A. 468 roller 12.5:1 big block, Dart 320 heads, Select TH400 w/brake, 8" 5500 stall, Southside Machine bars, 10.5x29 Mickeys T's, 12 bolt w/4.30 gears, Strange spool and axles, and 1 Big Shot nitrous plate set a 175hp. It ran a best of 9.53 @ 142mph with alot of room to go faster. He says, "a simple motor and a simple car."

This is Daves '79 Malibu Classic he bought for $800. He did all the body work himself, but had it painted. It used to have the landau top, he didn't like it. It has a 305 motor and a rebuilt tranny. He says, "I have a lot more work to do on it but it runs great. Definitely worth the $800 I paid for it." You might see this car cruising around in Sacramento, CA.

Here is Ben Heilman's '78 Malibu. He is in the Air Force stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Here's the stats: 357 cid, 10.5:1, .525 lift cam, Weiand Team G intake, Demon 750 carb, TH350 tranny with full manual valve body, Moser 9" and axles with Richmond 3.90 gears and a mini-spool. He says it's his daily driver too!
